City Retreat. 27, 28, 29, 30, & 31 December at 7:30 – 8:45am & 9:00 – 10:00am This City retreat offers space to finish the year in a clear and focussed way. These classes are open to all and will be tailored to suit those who are attending. The 7:30am class is the strongest and does require a good level of fitness; the following 9am class is more suitable for those who a looking for a gentle reflective practice to conclude 2019.   7.30am – 8.45am        Classic Dynamic Vinyasakrama This more advanced Dynamic Vinyasakrama class uses the classic asana (body postures), pranayama (breath work) and bhavana (visualisation) to ease off and loosen physical, mental and emotional tensions that build up at these intense times of the year. Space is created in the physical body through flowing movement and stimulating asana that work towards building strength for staying in. The conscious breath is used throughout class, further engaging the mind and generating internal space.
9:00am – 10:00am           Meditative class with deep Relaxation This class is suitable for everyone, preparation is through gentle asana to establish a long smooth breath, selected prānāyāma techniques to calm, clear and guide the mind into a reflective state. These meditative practices will be layered with many inner tools to assist in sustaining focus long enough to experience a personal space to ‘be’ open and clear.
