Leanne Gillies will be conducting a series of workshops starting THIS Monday 7th Sept; using Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra-s to explore through Svādhyāya (self study) ways to bring about positive change.
Each week we’ll discuss a sutra, diving into the meaning and how that interpretation can be framed in our own lives.
We then get on the mat for an asana practice with the bhavana (meaning) of the sutra threaded through the practice.
Having prepared our bodies we can continue into a pranayama session.
Concluding the class with a specific vedic chant.
A document will be provided weekly; detailing the sutra and a simplified yoga practice for the week (if you chose to do it).
