Introductory Taster for 300hr and 500 Hr Yoga Teacher Training in the Tradition of Krishnamacharya.
Saturday/Sunday. 25/26 June, 9/10 and 23/24 July 2016.

For those who’ve been tinkering with the idea of a formal teacher training, applications are invited for both our 300hr Yoga Journey/Bridging course and 500hr Basic Teacher Training Course starting with an Introductory Taster.
This is a short cameo course that gives those who are interested in either of our Teacher Training courses some experience before committing to the 1 or 2 year process
Taster involves three weekends from 9.00am to 5.30pm composing 1 weekend in June and 2 weekends in July.
If continuing with the Teacher Training Course, the Taster forms the first module of the Course.
Once the taster has finished, the courses will continue to run on designated weekends running with Victorian State School Terms.
Our approach celebrates the broad perspective that was gifted to TKV Desikachar by his father T.Krishnamacharya, throughout their 30 year Teacher-Student relationship.
Although TKV Desikachar has now retired, as one of his long-time students, Barbara Brian (Director of AYC) wishes to offer this unique Teacher Training Course in the more traditional manner, universally relevant and taught in a very personal way.
Specifically, the focus is on mentorship, and thanks to our teachers who have gone before us, we have access to an “ocean” of yoga tools that have been proven to reduce human suffering in modern times and promote self- empowerment.

Investment: $500 for the 6 days over June and July and includes a home practice.
VENUE: Agama Yoga Centre, 216 Richardson St. Middle Park.
